Latest Therratherma Project meeting at TEINSA facilities

Last wednesday, 30th June, Teinsa hosted a further international meeting for the European project Therra Therma in which partners from the UK, the Netherlands, US and Germany gathered to analyze their progress in the project. This geothermal energy project, consisting of the development of a new and more efficient geothermal heat pump for housing, has only a a few months left untill its conclusion and we are more than satisfied with the results so far. Teinsa's role in the project is to develop a control system. 
President of La Rioja visits Teinsa

La Rioja's president Mr. Pedro Sanz and the industry councillor Mr. Javier Erro visited Teinsa's facilities guided by our manager Mr. Javier Cumplido Matesanz and part of the I+D team.During the visit they were shown Teinsa's work in I+D developed these past years. The president was specially interested in projects concerning the reduction of environmental impact of hydroelectric production with dams, the elimination of microorganisms in hospitals. Finally, they saw part of the solar system production of hot water installation in our facilities.

Conference on Energy Efficiency and renovation of residential buildings

On Friday 12 February, Teinsa hosted a conference oriented to Property Administrators. With the main topic of energy savings in buildings and financing tools, public administration at the service of citizens, and posible reforms necessary in order to reduce household energy bills and emissions of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.
The event was held at the facilities of TEINSA, SL It explained the different renewable energy systems that can be applied in buildings, and the differences between them. At the end of the day, attendees were able to visit a pilot installation of solar panels included in a research project by TEINSA.
The day was led by Javier Cumplido, TEINSA manager and Sara Ramirez, responsible for developing energy audits TEINSA, SL

Acceptance of Public Works Tender Bid for the Maintenance of La Rioja Conference Hall, "Riojaforum"

In the Official Bulletin of La Rioja in October of 2009, La Rioja Tourism advertised for tender bids by means of public tendering process for the contracting of the maintenance service for facilities of air conditioning and protection against fires for the Conference Hall and Auditorium of La Rioja.
After the study of the various offers submitted and analysis by the appropriate bodies, Teinsa has obtained approval for the contract of maintenance of air conditioning and protection against fires for the Conference Hall and Auditorium of La Rioja.
